Fast Facts:
Location of Project	New Delhi, India
Project Length	8 days , 23rd June- 1st July
Base Location	314/4, Govind Puri, Okhla, New Delhi (kids to be picked and dropped here)
Age	12-18
Age Exceptions	This project accepts teen volunteers who are 12-18 years old with a letter of consent from a parent or guardian.
Program Schedule	1/2 day orientation on day 1 and a closure ceremony on the last day, 7 day volunteer work
Cost	The program cost is 3000 per student

What's Included:
Food	Snack & Juice
Transportation	Transfers between base site (Okhla) and project site
Social Activities	Every day- 10.30 am- 3 pm
Pre-Departure Kit	Questionnaire for the child & parents will be sent following registration
Orientation	Day 1, including key note address by a corporate leader and guided tour

Our program is designed to help build new bonds, greater empathy and also inspire the level of social consciousness that leads to social activism and societal transformation. We will help connect students to awaken to new dimensions, connect them with avenues that they naturally gravitate towards and help them empower their education with an inspiring purpose.

Through the various activities, interventions, games and real life experience that we have put together, we will aim to Awaken, Connect and Inspire the kids…

1. Awareness-Even - as we go about our daily lives, we can find new ways of waking up to the world around us. We can notice the sensations of things, the food we eat, the people around us, the trees, birds and our universe. When we become more aware of the present moment, we begin to experience afresh many things in the world around us that we have been taking for granted
2. Appreciation - Means thankfulness, counting your blessings, noticing simple pleasures, and acknowledging everything that you receive. It means learning to live your life as if everything were a miracle, and being aware on a continuous basis of how much you’ve been given. Gratitude shifts your focus from what your life lacks to the abundance that is already present and how you can share this abundance with others.
3. Affection - The sensitization will inspire the kids. You start to extend your affection and responsibility to Others. These are not just people who need you but also to those non-human "others" - for instance, nature, art, God - that take us beyond the ego and bring us closer to the world. Because being responsive and responsible to the world beyond us is a defining feature of our humanity.

Through this 3 step model, the Children will take the responsibility to do little things that can make the world a better place. The models consists of activities, interventions, simulations and brainstorming that will awaken the core dimensions of ‘Care, Empathy, Responsibility & Affection’ in the children through working with underprivileged, diseases, old age & environment issues and perhaps they will be inspired to grow and become a stronger, happier and more responsible person.

A person who is sensitized to the power of Grace, gratitude, appreciation and abundance. From Loving myself to Loving the Other. And the ‘Other’ is not just humans but also non humans… our planet.
